Portrayal |
The Franchi SPAS-12 is an Italian 12-gauge shotgun and was the first shotgun designed from the ground up as a military-grade shotgun. It holds 8 rounds but can be made to hold 10. The weapon is able to switch between pump-action and semiautomatic fire, which is unusual in a shotgun. Made out of all synthetic parts, it comes with a top-folding metal stock and a barrel cage to protect the user's hands from burns. It is rarely seen in Gunslinger Girl.
